Attendees will have time in the afternoon and evening to participate in an assortment of networking events in Austin. Below are recommended activities and restaurants for you to choose from. The tour of the LBJ Library and the SCTR cooking class will be organized by SCTR staff (please pick one).


SCTR trip to the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library Tour

Tuesday, April 20 at 2:00pm- Participants will be bused to the museum, and given time to view all of the exhibits. (Lunch is not included)The Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum is one of thirteen presidential libraries administered by the National Archives and Records Administration. Not only does the LBJ Library and Museum house forty five million pages of historical documents, but also offers a glimpse into the life of Lyndon B. Johnson and his public career of the thirty-sixth President of the United States of America. Investment Offices of the TRS of Texas Tour

Tuesday, April 20 at 2:00pm- The Tour of the TRS of Texas Investment Offices will be in conjunction with the LBJ Library tour. Please sign up for all activities on the SCTR registration form.


SCTR Hospitality- Pete's Dueling Piano Bar

Tuesday, April 20 from 8:00pm-12:00am- Please join us Pete's Tuesday for SCTR hospitality for drinks and entertainment. At Pete's, you are the entertainment! It's your singing, laughing, clapping, and dancing that causes that infectious excitement inside everyone each night, and keeps you coming back for more! SCTR Departure Dinner- The Old Pecan Street Café

Wednesday, April 21 at 6:00pm- The Café first opened its doors at 314 East 6th (Pecan) Street. With the charming architecture of a bygone era, this café embodies the spirit, quality and color of this unique part of Austin. The Old Pecan Street Café is within walking distance from the hotel. Independent Activities

Tuesday, April 20 / Golf- Onion Creek Club is Austin's most historic golf club. Founded in 1974 by three-time Masters Champion, Jimmy Demaret, and golf legend, Jimmie Connolly, Onion Creek Club has built a rich tradition of understated elegence based on quality and family values.
